In 2008 Makais.com was originally founded in sunny Hermosa Beach, California as an online bike store with a slightly different name (MakaiBikes.com). We got our start selling cruiser bikes and accessories at amazingly low prices. Actually, it started with just cruiser bikes and evolved to all sorts of bikes and cycling stuff. Business has been pretty good for us, we got a ton of great feedback, and in 2010 we evolved into Makais.com and moved into an awesome new office building in Redondo Beach and now we have gone way beyond just bikes! Now we are focused on bringing our customers all sorts of products related to sporting goods, fitness equipment, outdoor gear, and more! You can read a little more about us here.
